One killed and three injured in Leavenworth County wreck

Terry Sullins, age 56 and Daniel Watkins, age 31 were involved in an accident over this last week.  Daniel Watkins was seriously injured and Terry Sullins lost his life in a Leavenworth County accident.   According to the Kansas Highway patrol on December 14, 2012 at approximately 6:27 pm on Kansas Highway 73 about 4 miles north of Leavenworth the accident occurred.  The Police report states that the accident occurred when a vehicle operated by Terry Sullins crossed the center lane in an attempt to pass another vehicle  and struck a vehicle driven by Daniel Watkins head on. Mr. Watkins had two small children in the car, both of which were transported to the local hospital.
