Two injured in Semi-Truck accident in Wyandotte County

Kerena Winkel and Denise Shyne of Kansas City Kansas were sent to KU med after a serious accident in Wyandotte County.  According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Ms. Winkel and Ms. Shyne were involved in an accident with a Semi-Truck Driver. 

The accident occurred on July 11, 2013 at approximately 8:00 in the morning.  The facts known at this time is that a 2013 Kenworth Semi-Truck driven by Robert Ball of St. Joesph, Missouri made an abrupt lane change and struck Ms. Winkel's 2000 Toyota Camry and pushed it into the barrier wall on Interstate 635.  Both Ms. Winkel and Ms. Shyne were seriously injured and taken for medical care because of the semi-truck accident.
