When involved in an accident, especially if you were in the vehicle that was a fault,  many people believe that they may not be able to recover for their losses.  This may not be the case.  The operator of a vehicle is required to have insurance on their vehicle.  A passenger in a vehicle can often recover from the driver's insurance policy.
