Brenda Honeycutt age 48, of Lawrence Kansas and Sarah Ann Woody age 43, also of Lawrence, were both seriously injured in
a
Douglas County Kansas car accident.
According to the investigating officer of the Kansas Highway Patrol on
December 26,
2012 at approximately 10:55 am on Kansas Highway 10 about 1/4 mile east of 1650 road the
accident occurred. The
Police report states that the accident occurred as a vehicle driven by Brenda Honeycutt, crossed the westbound lanes and was struck by a vehicle operated by Sarah Woody traveling in the westbound lanes. The reasons as to why Ms. Honeycutt decided to cross at that time are still unknown. Both women were transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence.
