An accident in Wyandotte county
leaves two seriously injured. Frances Sims age 48, and husband Jonathan Sims age 53, were transported to St. Johns Medical Center after the December 20, 2012 accident. According to the
investigating officer for the Kansas Highway patrol, on December 20,
2012 at approximately 9:00 pm on Kansas Hwy 7 about 100 feet north of Parallel Parkway in Kansas City,
Kansas the accident occurred. The
Police report states that the accident took place when a vehicle
operated
by Neil Schoenfelder of Lansing, struck the rear of the 2006 Grand Prix of Francis Simms as she passed through and intersection. It is
unknown at this time why the vehicle did not yield.
